Hi. My name is Frank. You have heard all my 1st grade stories. In this book I am in kindergarten and I am 5 and a half years old. Now it is time to hear the story. "I have some some bad news." said our teacher, Mr. Johnson. "I am retiring." "Aw, man." said the class. "But don't worry." said Mr. Johnson. "You will still have school and we may see each other always." This gave the class a "Hooray!'' Mr. Johnson had gave them a poem for the retirement cards:
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You are retiring,
We will miss you.
Signed,
Your name here
"Can we make our own poems?'' asked Aron Marcini. "Nope." said Mr. Johnson. "Do we have to use stencils? asked Melvin Sneedly. "Of course." replied Mr. Johnson. "Can we make our butterflies purple?'' asked Fred Weasly. "Uh-uh" said the teacher. So everyone wrote the poem, being sure to use their name, while me and my best friend made both a retirement cards and a World Car comic (My tree house was built during the first day of Grade K). When Mr. Johnson saw the comic, he was very impressed. "Frank and Andy," he said. "You have a wild imagination." During recess their was a retirement party with fun and free ice cream (our favorite flavor and Mr. Johnson's "Top 5' flavors). At the end of the school year we were happily
carrying our yearbooks and said "See you later Mr. Johnson! Hope you have a happy retirment!" and drove our buggys home.

Morals:
1. After the end, Frank and Andy knew that soon they would become 1st graders.
2. When cars who live in Car Island say "retire", they mean they will quit teaching the grade that they teach and will teach a diffrent grade (if that car is a teacher).
3. Mr. Johnson will be teaaching 3rd grade next year.
Moral #4: When people in the United States and Canada say "retire", they mean they are no longer going to teach school because they are to old
(unless he or she is a teacher).
After Fred Weasly had said "Can we make our butterflies purple?" and Mr. Johnson said "Uh-uh", Mr. Johnson said "Butterflies are yellow. Everyone knows that."
