The School Thanksgiving Break

Hi. My name is Frank. I have a long weekend because we have some district recesses and a Thanksgiving break from 11/20- 12/2 ! We will have a long weekend. Irresistibly cool! Andy and I want to have a vacation. To Las Vegas, Nevada. Going to Las Vegas is pretty easy. You take the shortcut from SR-286 to I-505 from my cousin Nathan's house, merge left to South 6 freeway, pass the exit to CIIA (Car Island International Airport/Airlines), finally you go to SR-376. Finally, you get to Exit 49B and you can see the Fuelantic Ocean. Turn left, go straight, and then you made it Nevada. Then go to I-495 and go take an express train to Las Vegas and you are there! We probably needed to take an RV so Frederick the RV helped. "I'll take you to Las Vegas." said the big old RV. The inside of Frederick looked clean and comfortable. The microwave was not radioactive. Frederick would leave after they took the train at 11:30 AM to Las Vegas and Frederick would pick us up at the train station when the break ended. Or we could live in Frederick have the time to be in the rest area. The United States of Cars was pretty different from life in Car Island. There was a Staue of Liberty (fake) and the Eiffel Tower (faker). The Eiffel Tower was supposed to be seen in France, and the Statue of Liberty in New York. I never learned that there was a fake Statue of Liberty and a fake Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas. Melvin says there are many Eiffel Towers connecting the telophone wires but they are electricity pylons.

From My Diary:

11/21/06

Dear Diary,

No school! Me, Andy and Cousin Nathan are out for a trip to Las Vegas, Neveada (The United States of Cars).

Well long after that, it was Thursday, and my engine was starting to burst! I couldn't take living in Frederick. I was bored. No World Car comics could help me. I just wish--- we could go back to Car Island as fast as possible! Finnaly, I couldn't stop thinking about Car Island and school. My carburetor couldn't take it anymore. Cousin Nathan tried to comfort me. "Well, we know you can't take it anymore." he said. "But just relax." I felt much better. I think that it happens to be "Greetings from Las Vegas" right in our passports!

Sneak peak in a Comic Zone Magazine:
"Greetings from Las Vegas"

Don't forget your passports, everybody! Lets hit the road!

G-Chat: How it all started

Andy,

Have you gotten your passport and started packing? Whoa! Don't be such a race car! I was about to tell you I haven't packed. But anyway, since I've finished, why don't we go out? I'll meet you at the Car Island Rest Area For RVs at 9:45.

Frank,

Good thing you've packed. Just 15 minutes before I'm driving out the door! Hurry up! I'm getting impatient!

Whew! Its November 28th! Only a few more days and then its back to school! I feel happy and sad. What I mean is just that I am happy, but I still miss my hometown! But it is great to be back soon! Well, Car Island, here I come!

November 30th:

I can't stand it! I just can't stand it! The train station is closed, so we have to go to the subway station which is open except for holidays! Me and Andy are having a minor dilemma. WE STARTED TO BE HAPPY AND SAD. (I did that all in capital letters because it was a BIG BIG BIG minor dilemma.) I wasn't feeling relaxed on the subway. I realized buses were driving around in the rim of the tunnels! What am I thinking? Is this a dream?! No! Cause when Fred had been riding subways in Carsville, buses usually drive on the rim of tunnels! It was so ucomfortable in the subway. Finally, when we got to Car Island Subway Station, Frederick gave us a ride home. First Cousin Nathan was dropped off, my aunt and uncle, then me and Andy. We were so happy that we drove into the treehouse really fast and yelled "Sakes alive!" It was a truly, "half good half ok" vacation.
